  Required Credentials
  
  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate elementary or early childhood endorsement
  Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting
  Preferred Alternative Pathway
  
  If a candidate does not currently hold a teaching certificate, they may still be considered if they:
  
  Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or
  Have completed at least 60 college credit hours
  Are willing to actively enroll in and complete a teacher certification program

  Valid Michigan Driver’s License
  Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with:

  Completion of required school bus driver training/ELDT program
  Ability to pass:
  DOT Physical Examination
  Drug Screening
  Criminal Background Check
  Driving Record Review
  Must be at least 21 years old
